Our jam is made from the wild and cultivated berries that grow here on our farm. No fruits are purchased. The types of jam available for sale vary from year to year depending on what wild berries can be harvested. Jams include strawberry, blueberry, raspberry, blackberry, red and black currant, gooseberry, chokecherry and more.

Valerie makes the jam in small batches in our kitchen. Careful attention is paid to every processing detail as recommended by Bernardin home canning experts. New lids and sterilized equipment are used for filling the jars. Once jars are filled they are processed in boiling water to ensure sterility.

Visit the eye catching display of perennial flowers at our two off-farm market locations. Our perennial collection features species that bloom in July and August—perfect for cottage gardens. There are many varieties—suited to different soils, garden types, and sun exposures. We limit our collection to plants that do well in our cool climate.

Plants are all well rooted mostly in gallon sized pots. Perennials in the display are in full bloom so customers can visualize how the plants will look in their home gardens. Display signs and plant labels recommend suitable locations and care for each plant. These potted flowers can be planted at any time through the growing season as long as they are watered regularly until well established in the home garden.
